At Snook Club we love snook fishing and everything about these wonderful gamefish. While we enjoy eating a few snook every season, we also realize that all snook not kept, must be handled appropriately. This way the same fish can be caught again and again. When landing snook, be ready by having a smooth wet area to place the fish on. Have pliers and lip grippers ready to help extract the hook. Never hang a snook by the lip grippers, as this can damage the ligaments in their jaw. Have your camera ready as well. Keep the fish out of the water as little as possible. Remember as long as they are out of the water, they can't breathe.
